KPF Co., Ltd. (CEOs: Song Moo-hyun, Kim Hyung-no) announced that its Chungju Plant received

the Minister’s Commendation in the category of Outstanding Contribution to Materials, Parts, and

Equipment Technology Development at the 2024 Materials, Parts & Subcontracting Technology Expo,

held on October 30 at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.

Hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE), the commendation aims to recognize

individuals and organizations who have significantly contributed to technological innovation

in Korea’s materials, components, and equipment (MPE) industries. The award is part of the government’s

broader effort to boost morale and incentivize continuous advancement in the sector.

KPF’s flagship product—industrial fasteners—plays a critical but often unseen role in ensuring

structural integrity by securely connecting components. As a leading domestic fastener manufacturer,

KPF has focused extensively on R&D through the Technology Research Center at its Chungju facility,

striving for high-performance and high-quality fastener development over several years.

In particular, KPF’s TC set products, large bolts for wind power, S10T Plus, and 14.9 Plus series

exemplify the company's technical expertise and production know-how. These products have successfully

replaced foreign imports, contributing to import substitution and enhancing both safety and

efficiency in construction environments.

CEO Kim Hyung-no stated, We are honored that our long-standing R&D efforts have been recognized

as meaningful contributions to national industrial growth and public safety. Moving forward,

KPF will continue to strengthen its role as a cornerstone of Korea’s industrial ecosystem by further

investing in innovation and development.”
